CCWP – Clean Care Water Program

The Clean Care water program is an initiative put forth in order to insure the wildlife held in Zoo’s across North America are offered clean water to insure health and proper growth.

Independent action groups have long since claimed that the care provided to wild animals held in zoos is not up to par. Often times the source of poor health in animals is directly related to the water they drink.

In the wild an animal will drink from many different sources and if they are forced to feed in one location they are sure to find the cleanest option. When held in zoos they are only able to drink the water offered through the care takers. Certain groups and standing by CCWP in efforts to help zoo animals continually have clean water available to them.
